Sunday, March 23rd 2008 - Well, we’re back from the debauchery that is SXSW. Blood alcohol levels are slowly but surely returning to normal. The shows went great and it was alot of fun hanging with the huge memphis contingent in austin and meeting tons of folks from all around the globe. Thanks to everyone who came out to the gigs, bought cd’s and drinks. More than likely we’ll have some Memphis shows in April and May and possibly an east coast tour sometime in June with our friends Antique Curtains. There is also talk of hitting the road with Snowglobe this summer. We’ll see how everything pans out. We’re also in the midst of rehearsing a ton of new songs that will hopefully find their way onto an EP or LP sometime this summer. More info as it becomes available. - TTM
Sunday, March 2nd, 2008 - Hello. It has been quite sometime since our last website update so let me fill you in on what’s going on in the world of The Third Man. First, our new record, Among the Wolves, is finished. It was a year and a half in the making and alot of blood and guts went into the completion of this record. We are extremely proud of if. It was recorded at Young Ave Sound here in Memphis, produced and engineered by our friend Kevin Cubbins, and mixed by us. The record was released locally in Memphis in December 2007 and will receive a national release on March 11th through High/Low Records and Memphis Records. It is available now for download on iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic, and Napster so go get a copy. You know you want to. Second, we will be heading down to SXSW in a couple of weeks to play two shows. One of Friday, March 14th @ Opal Divine's Freehouse and the other on Saturday, March 15th @ The Hi/Lo Bar. Check the shows page for all the details. Godspeed. - TTM
